We are a volunteer group of lawyers, former police officers, and others. Our goal is to have crimes connected to the Covid-19 pandemic investigated, and where appropriate prosecuted. We are not the police and cannot give confidential informant privilege. Because of constitutional and common law requirements that defendants be given all relevant information when facing charges, it is important for you to understand that information you provide may be given to third parties when appropriate/required.

I understand that Citizen Investigation Services Canada (“CISC”) is not a law firm and that I am not entering into a solicitor-client relationship.

I understand that I am providing information to support a potential investigation. I also further understand that the investigation could lead to a prosecution.

I understand that if a prosecution is proceeded with that the information I provide will likely be given to the Defendant(s). I understand that disclosure of prosecution evidence is a Constitutional Requirement in Canada.

I understand that CISC may choose to provide the information I give to a law enforcement agency such as a police force or public prosecution service for the purpose of supporting an investigation and/or prosecution.

I understand that CISC is not obligated to conduct any investigation.

I understand that CISC has not made any representations to me concerning data protection.
